In each section you will find descriptions and images of the different nervous system structures. Words that are marked in bold represent structures that you can see in the image, hovering over them will highlight the structure's location in the image.

The "Show all" button can be used to show all of the highlighted structures in an image.

You can also show pins in the image and hover over them to show each structure, the colored structures will show up and the names within the text will be underlined.

Interactive 3D models
For some of the structures, we have prepared interactive 3D models. Press play and explore the model. You can rotate it, zoom in and out and move it around. On the bottom of the model you will find the list of annotations that mark the different structures, you can use it to navigate through them.

The neuraxis
Humans have a bend in the neuraxis, note the terms: rostral (beak), caudal (tail), dorsal (back) and ventral (belly).
